When a range in one of these houses goes through spark modules, the installation usually deserves as much blame as the part.

The Wolf had been baking cool for months and I kept blaming myself and the recipes. He put a probe in the oven and it was running well under the dial, so the sensor had drifted. Bread comes out right again. Should have called last winter instead of buying more thermometers.
There was a rattle behind the grille you could hear from the next room, plaster walls carry everything in these old houses. He said debris off the canyon gets pulled into the condenser fan, which sounds much worse than it is. Cleared it out and it went quiet.
Water coming out under the front of the refrigerator and all I could think about was the original oak floor running through the whole house. Next morning appointment. It was cloudy water, so the drain had iced closed rather than the supply line letting go. Sorted in one visit.
